My Fragrance Journey

My name is Farai, and I am a fragrance enthusiast living just outside of Brighton. I began to wear fragrances during my college days; my first purchase was Kouros by Yves Saint Laurent. Over the years, I tried many different scents from Hugo Boss, Chanel, Dolce and Gabbana, to name a few. For a while, I only purchased perfumes from Chanel with Allure Homme been my favourite. After obtaining my 5th bottle mid last year, I got bored with Allure Homme and decided to find a new signature scent. I searched online, and I was amazed to see a community, with lots of people who had a real passion for all thing’s fragrance. I did not realise the number of brands that were out there, including niche and indie niche.
 
I then stumbled across reviewers on YouTube and started to watch videos from Jeremy Fragrance, Smurfygurly, Smells Good, Mr Smelly, Joy Amin, Fragranceview, Gent Scents, Smelling Great Fragrance Review, Brooklyn Fragrance Lover, Cubaknow, Fragmental, yes so many and more. I was hooked, keen to learn more about the world of perfume, the different ingredients, the blending of these beautiful ingredients, who is behind the scent and the brand.
 
I have purchased a few bottles so far, and I am looking to add more to my collection. I am going to look out for new and old brands, sampling first before I commit to a purchase. I want to share my thoughts and experience, and I hope you enjoy my journey. Thanks for stopping by!
